A postdoctoral research position is available for expertise in LCA for emerging technologies, with focus area of water treatment. We seek a researcher who can collaborate on LCA efforts and apply new method for evaluation of the projected impacts of the full scale technology development. This position requires a strong LCA background as well as familiarity with waste water treatment systems.
The position will be funded by Tel Aviv University under a grant agreement from the ministry of science in collaboration with German teams. The successful candidate will work closely with diverse research groups led by Professor Hadas Maman (Engineering) and Dr. Vered Blass (Industrial Ecology) from Tel Aviv University. Responsibilities of the applicant include developing the LCA model and the new assessment method. Contributing to project reports and publishing in peer-reviewed journals will also be expected.
Funding is available for 24 months. The position requires spending time in Israel \ Germany, however, there is flexibility in living location. A monthly stipend (tax-free) will be paid according to the Tel Aviv University post-doc stipend levels.
